EcoPouf® Dual Cleansing Pad

The idea behind the EcoPouf is definitely a great one, although after using it a few times, I feel as though it could use a little bit more refining. The loofah side does an excellent job of scrubbing but the netted side leaves a lot to be desired. rnrnOriginally I thought that my lack of satisfaction was because the product was new and not yet broken in, but I notice that the netting is clumped together rather densely. I tried a variety of shower gel but noticed that it does not lather up much of a foam. It seemed to take more gel than usual to get average coverage. Also, the netted part is rather tough, making it seem like both sides were meant for rough exfoliation. I'm inclined to believe that the densely packed netting is the cause for this since there isn't much room for the gel itself to move around even on contact. rnrnOverall the package itself is quite good looking, rather compact which makes for a nice travel pack addition. Unfortunately I tend to bring less shower gel when I travel and this seems to require more for average performance. The loofah works well. I question how long the elastic hand band will last when getting flipped back and forth multiple times. In short, I would hold off on purchasing this if I could do it again; it's a good product idea that could use a bit of refining.
